Our Beginning

OmniHealing Wellness Center was founded in response to the lack of culturally responsive mental health services for Black folx and their need for a safe space to achieve sound healing.

While working for other agencies in the metro area, our President realized the disparity of professionals who practice with a culturally responsive, social justice, and top-down approach.

It was apparent that this was connected to those who have been historically underserved or marginalized feeling disconnect from their mental health providers and increased mental health stigma, which stunted their ability to grow and heal.

Our President felt a responsibility and need to change this! She saw an opportunity to combine services that have a strong sense of community, richness of diversity inclusion, and provide a clinical environment that embraces the wellness of both the community and providers.

Diversity, inclusion, and social justice were at the core of the development of Omni Healing Therapeutic Services in 2021.

OmniHealing Wellness Center continues to work towards this foundation and prides itself on providing anti-oppressive, culturally inclusive, and holistic services to all!

We believe that autonomy and social justice are hand in hand. Autonomy is the freedom from external control or influence. In each service we provide, autonomy is enforced aimed to assist us in our goal to provide an anti-oppressive approach.

Justice

Social justice involves distribution of opportunities and privileges for differ societies. We have a dream to provide services that are historically inaccessible to those from underserved and marginalized communities.

Spirituality

Spirituality is the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul. This is a focus of ours as we strive to provide holistic wellness services. Our goal is to look beyond organized religion and non-religious experiences to be a conduit to assist others with finding quality of life, being tuned into something beyond the physical, being connected, and finding their truths.

Inclusion

Inclusion is about the practice of respecting and valuing each individual's uniqueness. We aspire to create a safe space for the community and providers where everyone is welcome and heard. We acknowledge that this is a big task however, we believe this can be achieved.

Kiara Owens has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Kiara has always had an interest and appreciation for working with persons who experience a spectrum of relational concerns. Kiara is particularly comfortable with using an integrative, social interest, experiential, trauma-informative, and harmonic approach when working with patients, staff, supervisees, and the community.

Our Team

Haley Gazda is a recent add to our dynamic team. Haley comes to OmniHealing Wellness Center with a degree in social work and described “always having an interest in the mental health field”. Haley presents excited and innovative as she provides high quality customer services to our patients and partners.

I love working with those who feel like they are in a constant negative cycle. Let’s break that cycle together to become your best selves. I am currently a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) seeking full LMFT licensure. I graduated from Adler Graduate School in 2021 as a Professional Counselor. I have additional certifications in Circle of Security parenting and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, ptsd, childhood trauma, and relational trauma symptoms. Therapy forms can be as individual, families, or couples sessions. I have worked in teen residential centers, day treatment, chemical dependency centers, crisis support, in-home support, school linked therapy and clinic outpatient therapy. I have always had an interest in working with families to create healthy relationships. I believe that within our natural human needs of connection with others, our closest relationships starting from childhood leading into adulthood has a major impact on our lives. These relationships can not only be described as one on one experiences but also in our everyday systems we are a part of in our world/environment. I typically utilize narrative, solution focus and cognitive behavioral therapy in my clinical approach.
